Get an intimate look at parents-to-be in the weeks and months leading up to the birth of their child including the magic of delivery.Can people from two very different backgrounds come together to form a family? Lilly, a documentary photojournalist, and Brett, an emergency medical technician, have been together for ten years. Brett never knew his biological father, which has given him a strong desire to be a parent. Initially, Lilly was uneasy about having children but after she produced a documentary on midwifery she reconsidered the idea. In another twist, Brett converted to Judiasm when he married Lilly – a decision his family was not very happy about. Brett and Lilly know they are having a baby girl, so they're planning a Jewish baby naming ceremony, which both families will attend – hopefully with minimal conflict.
